Expanded VPN on Chrome Devices

Public launch and big name adoption

Most businesses and government institutions rely on commercial VPN solutions from Cisco, Juniper, F5 Networks, Dell, etc. to allow remote access to their networks, even for their intranet ‘web’ content.  This was a fundamental blocker for Chrome in many commercial deals for some time but now this enhancement has already been adopted by big names such as AAA, Charles Schwab and Sanmina. It has also helped in existing customers such as Netflix. Among VPN partners, Cisco AnyConnect, Juniper (Pulse Secure), Dell SonicWall, F5 and Palo Alto Networks VPNs are all publicly available now.
